The Harmonia Angelica Mega Singing Competition was a remarkable celebration of faith and music for the Catholic community of Hyderabad. Organized by the Youth Commission of the Archdiocese of Hyderabad in collaboration with St. Michael’s Church, Golconda, the event was held on November 22, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Gunfoundry. Dedicated to St. Cecilia, the patron saint of music, the evening became a vibrant showcase of talent and devotion.
The competition featured 11 group performances, 25 solo entries, and 10 instrumental presentations, each highlighting the artistic spirit of the archdiocese’s youth.With an enthusiastic audience of around 400 people, the cathedral resonated with melodies of praise and youthful energy. The program began in the evening and continued into the night, concluding around midnight, a testament to the passion and commitment of the participants, organizers, and audience.The youth group from St Joseph’s Cathedral, Gunfoundry emerged victorious, winning the prestigious rolling trophy along with a cash prize of Rs. 12,000.
