The Gagillapuram Deanery successfully organized a vibrant Youth Retreat on March 1, 2025, in collaboration with the Youth Commission of the Archdiocese of Hyderabad.
With great zeal and spiritual fervor, the Church Gagillapur Deanery, in collaboration with the Youth Commission of the Archdiocese of Hyderabad, organized a Youth Retreat on March 1st, 2025. The retreat was held at St. Agnes Church, Shapur Nagar, and commenced at 9:00 AM.
The theme of the retreat, “Hope does not Let us Down”, is rooted in the Christian virtue of hope and aims to encourage young people to remain steadfast in faith despite the challenges they face.
A key verse guiding the event is taken from 1 Timothy 4:12 – "Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity."
The retreat was a meaningful day of spiritual enrichment, vibrant youth fellowship, and personal reflection. Youth from various parishes under the Gagillapur Deanery attended in large numbers and participated actively.
The event served as a beacon of encouragement for the young faithful, reminding them of their value and calling within the Church.
